Ingredients (for 1 person)
- 55 ml espresso
- Milk and milk foam
- 15 ml flavoured syrup or 40 ml Baileys (alcoholic)
Preparation
The latte macchiato is based on the espresso, which fills around 1/4 of the latte macchiato glass. The remaining 3/4 consists of hot milk and milk foam. As milk is more dense than coffee, the espresso floats on top of the milk.
Add a little flavoured syrup or Baileys to the latte macchiato glass, to taste.
Prepare a latte macchiato.
